I used to think Qigong and Tai Chi were boring. 😅
Too slow. Too gentle. I honestly didn’t understand what people saw in them.
Then I started practicing.
Eleven years later, I’m still studying and practicing—and I’ve been teaching these practices for more than 7 years.
They have helped me tremendously with pain, mobility, energy, stress, and simply feeling better in my body. And once I experienced the benefits for myself, I was hooked. ☯️
Now the research continues to catch up with what practitioners have experienced for generations.
A major new review looked at 1,744 randomized controlled trials of traditional Chinese exercises, including Tai Chi and Qigong, and found benefits including:
✨ Reduced pain and stiffness
✨ Improved mobility and physical function
✨ Better sleep
✨ Improved mental wellbeing
✨ Improved bone health
What looks slow and simple from the outside can be surprisingly powerful when you actually practice it.
That’s one of the reasons I teach Qigong today. I want more people to experience these practices—not just read about their benefits.
And yes… I definitely don’t think they’re boring anymore. 😂
Have you ever tried Qigong or Tai Chi?
