Each style is uniquely named after the first person to wear it, with products ranging from hats, headbands, and scarves for both women and men, to baby blankets and diaper covers. All items are made to order with care. Originally a hobby she learned from her mother, Susie began knitting scarves and hats for friends in 2013. Her friends have brought her collections around the country, keeping them
warm during blizzards in New York City and Washington DC, on the windy streets of Chicago, in the great outdoors of Denver and Seattle, and even across the Atlantic in snowy Germany. As demand has grown, Susie opened her Etsy shop in January 2016. Her knitted ware is made of a high quality wool blend yarn and comes in over 18 colors with hues ranging from subtle earth shades to vibrant jewel tones. Susie is an east coast transplant living in the Lone Star state with her boyfriend, Max. During the day she works as a palliative care social worker in Dallas. Working in a hospital, she finds knitting, an active meditation, therapeutic both for the sick and their families as they pass the time in waiting rooms. In New York, she set up a bereavement knitting workshop for those who had lost their loved ones— it was a way for people to come together as a support group to share and create.
