Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve been active on social media, for so many different reasons! Over the past few months, I’ve been pouring my energy into something truly meaningful. I recently had the incredible opportunity to present together with my colleague at a major mental health organization (Nefesh International ) about the Psychosocial Impact of Pregnancy Loss.

It was an honor and a privilege to share insights on such an important and often overlooked topic. Discussing grief and loss in this context is vital, and being able to connect with colleagues on this matter felt truly rewarding.

Extreme independence may be a trauma response after loss.
Trying not to depend on other people may be due to fear of losing that person and / or your trust in other people has been injured.
And so you become hyper independent, self reliant and therefore burnt out and overwhelmed due to fear of asking for help. You are allowed to ask for help. You are supposed to be helped by others.
