Ovarian cancer is often called the “silent disease” because its symptoms can be subtle and easily overlooked. Knowing the signs can help lead to earlier diagnosis and treatment.

Know the Signs:

▪️ Bloating
▪️ Pelvic or abdominal pain
▪️ Feeling full quickly
▪️ Frequent or urgent urination
▪️ Fatigue
▪️ Changes in bowel habits

Know Your Risk:

▪️ Family history of ovarian or breast cancer
▪️ Increasing age
▪️ Endometriosis
▪️ Obesity

Early Detection Matters

There is currently no routine screening test for ovarian cancer for women at average risk. Pay attention to persistent symptoms and talk to your healthcare provider if something doesn’t feel right.

Some cancers don’t make noise early—and that’s why awareness matters. Esophageal cancer often goes unnoticed until symptoms begin to interfere with everyday life. Paying attention to changes in swallowing, ongoing reflux, or unexplained discomfort can make a real difference.

This month is a reminder to listen to your body, know your risks, and prioritize preventive care. Early conversations lead to earlier action.
