Small update but huge progress.

Mom is currently in rehab working in OT and PT daily. Every step literally is in the right direction. Keep praying for her strength and healing.

Let's end this month with some good news.

Mom was transferred to inpatient rehabilitation yesterday evening. Now the really hard part begins. She has essentially been bed bound the last year and definitely for over a month at the hospital. It's time to rebuild those muscles so she can walk again.

This is not an easy path for her but if she sets her mind to it she will get through.

Just keep sending good thoughts and prayers her way please.

Happy Thursday morning 🔆

If all goes well Mom will be transferred to a local rehabilitation center today. Praise Jesus!

Yesterday she enjoyed a nice visit from a long time friend. These visits keep her spirits up and working hard to return home. If you are near and dear; family, blood or friend, please try and drop by even if just for a few minutes.

Thank you everyone for all of the strength sent her way.

Who was transferred from Charleston to the Midlands area?

She is currently waiting for a bed to open at a rehabilitation center in the area.

Being closer to home makes a world of difference for her to see more family that could not make the longer drive.

Mom is on the right road this time I think of full recovery finally.

Y'all keep sending those good vibes. She's strong but needs everyone behind her.

Happy Friday everyone!

Mom is doing better in some areas that will potentially allow her dialysis port to be removed today 🙏🤞

Either today or over the weekend she will be transferred to a hospital closer to family until a bed at a rehab facility opens up. I know she will be happier being able to see someone she loves almost daily.

This woman has turned my hair gray 😂🤣 but I am happy knowing she is on the mend a month later. Actually, in all honesty, she hasn't been great since the transplant. Hopefully, things are about to change soon. 🙏

Lots more healing to go..

Mom is still on dialysis several days a week, but..

The brain mass shrunk some and they decided not to do a biopsy. They will just monitor it to make sure it doesn't enlarge again. Excellent news 😃

Thank you for all of the continued prayers and support. The additional donation received recently helps the family stay in Charleston for supporting Mom, even if it's a few days, it all helps.

Good morning!

Please continue your prayers of support. Mom is scheduled for her brain biopsy tomorrow.

Some of you may know, she also tragically lost one of her grandsons recently. This is very hard on everyone especially my brother at the loss of his son, but all that know Mom know that her family is very important to her. This has come as a huge heartbreak to everyone.

If you have just one prayer or word of support and healing today and in the coming days, please send it.

Good morning 🌅

Over the past few days Mom has had some positive news. They were able to remove the feeding tube and return her to a normal diet. She desperately wanted her caffeine 😊 always a good sign.

She had an MRI yesterday and the biopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

Today her youngest along with one of her sisters are going to visit, and possibly her son. Tomorrow Dad is making the trip down for a few days to get her through whatever results she receives on the mass in her brain. Let's pray for a positive outcome on this one.
