Hospice by Loving Care is looking for compassionate volunteers to provide comfort, companionship, and support to patients and families throughout their hospice journey. Whether you're visiting with a patient, sharing music or conversation, helping preserve treasured memories, or supporting our team behind the scenes, your kindness can have a lasting impact.

Volunteer opportunities include:
🫂 Companionship and friendly visits
📞 Telephone check-in calls
🎵 Music or art at the bedside
📝 Life review and memory preservation
🏡 Light housekeeping and meal preparation
📂 Administrative and bereavement support

Hospice volunteers also provide much-needed respite for caregivers, giving families time to rest, run errands, or simply take a moment to recharge—knowing their loved one is in caring hands.

Oklahoma lost a legend.

Gary England wasn’t just a meteorologist—he was a voice of calm in the storm. A true Oklahoman who spent his life keeping families safe, and whose legacy will live on in every warning, every shelter, and every saved life.

We join so many across our state in mourning his passing and honoring his incredible impact.

Thank you, Gary. For your steady presence. For your unwavering service. And for showing us what it means to truly care for your community.

Rest well, sir.

There will only ever be one Gary England - an Oklahoman through and through. He was one of a kind and the impact he had on our state, meteorology and severe weather prediction and tracking will be felt for years and years to come.

I was fortunate to work with Gary and see first-hand how much he cared about keeping Oklahomans safe. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.

My condolences go out to his family and may he rest in peace.
