I was able to meet some awesome physicians last night. OB/GYN , Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Dermatology, and Weight Loss. Nashville has great options for people of color wanting a doctor who looks like them. Research shows that minorities live longer when they have a doctor with a similar Nationality. But I think it boils down to relatability and trust. You must trust your doctor. If you don’t please find a new one who relates well with you and is willing to listen.
