We are so excited to introduce the newest addition to our space—our climbing wall!

While climbing is a fantastic way to build strength, coordination, and motor planning, the benefits go far beyond gross motor development. Climbing walls also help children develop:

⭐ Problem-solving skills as they plan their route
⭐ Body awareness and spatial awareness
⭐ Confidence and resilience through trying challenging tasks
⭐ Focus, attention, and persistence
⭐ Bilateral coordination and motor planning

Making scissor skills fun is kind of our thing! From snipping “hay” to feed the horses and cutting playdough to craft projects, playful practice helps little hands grow stronger while building coordination, focus, and confidence.

Learning to use scissors takes time and practice. Children build these skills step by step, starting with simple snips before moving on to lines, curves, and shapes as their control and confidence grow!
