Hello, this is Hyeyeong Kim at Healing Acupuncture and Herbs. I attended National University of Health and Sciences and graduated with Masters in Oriental Medicine in 2013. Shortly after passing the national boards and receiving my Illinois license, I was fortunate to begin my healing journey with Master Guo, a renowned herbalist whom I cannot describe with words, a true healer/philosopher.
I worked beneath his wings for 7 years, and I was able to help those who came in with serious and difficult conditions: cancer-related symptoms, auto-immune disorders, pain from head to toe, digestive issues, addictions, trauma, ob/gyne., etc. I witnessed what acupuncture and herbs could do even in hopeless situations which was such a blessing experience since it is a rare opportunity in the U.S. or outside of East Asia.
Now that I am on my own since 2021, I try my best to follow Master Guo's footprints when I am practicing. I remember his amazing and miraculous works but his attitude towards his patients is what I cherish daily: an open mind and a sincere heart to care. That is my approach and it's been working very well.
I simply care too much about everyone. I want to help those who are in pain and discomfort. I care about the community, society, this country, and the whole world. I try to do what I can do one step at a time. I would like to hear all about your history, journey, or anything that's on your mind.
