This absolute freaking champion had Botox earlier this week to help with his muscle spasticity. He gets all the comfort measures we can give him, but it still doesn’t feel great. Afterwards, he just wants to be cuddled while he snoozes. Mom happily provides the cuddles. (Plus she gets to continue to be a creep and take pictures of the sleepy dude.)

I don’t want to jinx it, but at the same time I want to scream it out for everyone to hear. Nolan’s neurologist was so pleased with his progress today!
Sometimes it’s hard to see the progress when you’re so close to it. His doctor was pointing out so many improvements and it was so awesome to realize how far he’s come!

I am a total creep when it comes to taking pictures of this kid sleeping. He’s freaking adorable though!

It’s been too quiet lately so the chaos goblin decided to shake things up. His feeding tube balloon developed a lovely hole in it, resulting in a mad scramble to IR this morning to replace it. While we waited, creative measures were employed to keep the tube in place. Shown here is the 2B KEEPER 3000. It did not work well. Especially when someone squirms, kicks, rolls, and generally tries to flop around as much as possible.

This man has been on a mission this week. He wants to eat, eat, eat! He has been doing awesome at eating things orally and been taking in nearly an ounce of puréed food each day. That may not sound like much, but for him that is insane!

If you were in the Ankeny Costco this morning and heard banshee shrieking and feral child yelling…ummm. Hi. That was my kid. I’d say I’m sorry, but I’m not. He was having a great time. And you were probably in his way so, uh, move over.
