My Gentle Facial is customized to your skin care needs each time you come in. You decide if you want the table warmer on and if you’d like a silent appointment or not. I ask on your intake if you have sensitivities to light, sounds or smells to make sure I create a calming space for you.

Throughout your appointment I focus heavily on upper body massage — hand and arm, neck and shoulder, scalp & face massage.

Cleansing is one of the most important steps of your skincare routine skincare treatments.

When we don’t cleanse the skin, we are allowing debris to get trapped into our pores. This causes congestion and build up. If you’re skipping your cleanse and going straight to a serum, retinoids or moisturizer then that product is absorbed through the build up trapping it further.
The pollutants we are exposed to on a frequent basis - air pollution, smoke, cleaning chemicals, etc are absorbed through your skin.
A gentle, daily cleanser can do absolute wonders and keeps your barrier in healthy condition and is an essential part of skincare routines; at home and in the treatment room.

I learned today that m3ta (this platform and inst@gr@m) utilize spyware when you click on links from their platforms and collect your data— everything you type. Passwords, CC numbers etc.

Please make sure when clicking links from these platforms, including to book with me, you open in an external browser or type in my website into your browser itself. Your information and privacy are important to me and this is a habit I will have to get myself out of as well. ❤️

A couple of skin care tips for your at home routine!
1. Brush your teeth before washing your face, toothpaste residue can cause breakouts around the mouth and chin
2. Wash your hands before washing your face! Otherwise you’re just dragging bacteria all over and that can cause breakouts as well.

Creating a safe space for my clients is what matters the most to me. I strive to make my treatment room as accessible as I can (some things are just out of my control but please if you ever have suggestions on changes to make my space even more accessible, holler!) whether that’s physically, financially or emotionally.

Please know that in my treatment room, my yoga classes, my workshops, wherever I am… I will never tolerate hate. I do not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, bigotry and ableism, or hate of any kind. I have no problem ending a session with someone making me or my clients / students feeling uncomfortable.
