When a loved one passes away, it’s a “see you later,” not a goodbye.
You may not see them physically every day, but they are always with you — watching over you and waiting for the day your souls meet again. The loss of the physical body is painful, overwhelming, and sometimes confusing, but love does not end with death. Love knows no boundaries and carries on far beyond this world.
While your loved ones are here in physical form, make memories, cherish the beautiful moments, and never hesitate to overuse the words “I love you.” Those are the moments that matter most.
The same is true for our beloved pets. They wait faithfully at the Rainbow Bridge for the person they love most.

In a world full of so many beliefs and religions, where do you believe you go when you pass away?

What do you believe is the purpose of life while we are living? Do you believe everyone has a set purpose?

Do you believe in reincarnation?

Are you met by your ancestors who have gone before you?

Do you believe you can come back and visit your loved ones or send them signs?

If you believe in signs, what sign or signs do you believe in?

These are just a few questions regarding death, spirituality, and the unknown. There are no right or wrong answers — only different experiences, beliefs, and perspectives. 💫

My name is Jessica, and I’m proud to be part of the Between Worlds team. Our mission is to provide compassionate support, guidance, and comfort to individuals and families navigating end-of-life journeys, grief, and loss.

I graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science, one of the nation’s leading mortuary schools, with education centered in funeral directing, embalming, grief care, and end-of-life service. Along with being a certified death doula, I am also a certified crematory operator, certified in water cremation (aquamation), and certified in natural organic reduction.

My passion is helping families feel supported, informed, and cared for during some of life’s most difficult moments. I believe death care should be approached with compassion, dignity, education, and honesty.

In a chaotic world, slow down, make memories, and say “I love you.”

In the grand scheme of things, life is short—very short. My grandpa used to tell us, “Don’t work your life away when you have family at home.” You can always make more money, but you can’t get back time or missed moments.

That has had a profound impact on how I live my life. He wasn’t saying not to work—he meant work enough to take care of your responsibilities and be comfortable. But don’t lose sight of what truly matters.

Material things are just that… things. You can’t take them with you when you go. Memories, love, and the time you spend with the people who matter most—that’s what lasts.

Just some food for thought. 💛
