I'm often star-struck, but it's not by actors, musicians, or famous athletes. I get star-struck by the Average Joe (or Jane) who seems to shine a bit brighter than those around them. You know the type... those people who exude an authentic, genuine aura that's filled with hope, empathy, and a care-free vibe that makes it seem as if they can't possibly lose at their game of life. If I didn't know any better, I would assume these folks are living their last day on Earth... you know... really, TRULY enjoying each moment and every person they encounter. It's nothing short of miraculous. No doubt, they have interesting stories to tell. How could they not? After all, when a person lives life in that manner, doors surely open up, and the Universe rolls out the red carpet of opportunities. In my view, these people are the real rock stars of life. They are prime examples of how we're meant to live. It's not easy, and it's not for the faint of heart. But if you ever meet one of these people, get a photo with them, and ask what they eat for breakfast each morning. There's got to be a secret sauce to their recipe of life. I suspect it has more to do with compassion and courage than it does with charisma. In any case, please keep in mind that everyone is a celebrity in their own right, and sometimes those with the best stories to share are the ones who don't crave the spotlight.
