🍊 Why Citrus?

When we were choosing a name for our urgent care, we wanted something that reflected more than medicine—we wanted it to reflect home.

Long before East Colonial Drive became the growing community it is today, the areas around Wedgefield, Bithlo, Christmas, and East Orlando were known for their beautiful orange groves. Citrus farming helped shape this region, providing jobs, supporting families, and building the community we proudly serve today.

That’s why we chose the name Citrus Urgent Care.

It’s our way of honoring the history of this land while planting new roots for the future. Just as those groves nourished generations before us, our mission is to provide compassionate, convenient healthcare that helps our neighbors thrive.

We’re proud to be locally owned, family operated, and committed to serving the community we call home.
