🦷 Your toothbrush may not be the problem…
It might be what you're doing AFTER you brush.
A lot of people have a solid brushing routine but overlook a few simple habits that can make their oral-care routine better.
Here are 4 things worth checking:
1️⃣ Are you cleaning between your teeth?
A toothbrush doesn't reach every area between your teeth. Daily flossing or another dentist-recommended interdental cleaner can help clean those hard-to-reach spaces.
2️⃣ Are you cleaning your tongue?
Your tongue can collect bacteria and debris. Gently cleaning it can be a simple addition to your routine, especially if you struggle with morning breath.
3️⃣ Are you replacing your toothbrush regularly?
If the bristles are becoming worn or frayed, it's probably time for a replacement. A worn toothbrush isn't going to clean as effectively as one with healthy bristles.
4️⃣ Are you relying on mouthwash to do everything?
Mouthwash can be useful, but it shouldn't be treated as a replacement for brushing and cleaning between your teeth.
Good oral health isn't about one magic product.
It's about getting the basics right — consistently. 🦷
