The spine is meant to be flexible. With built in curves and vertebrae stacked carefully one upon another, it should move with ease— allowing you to turn, twist, arch and bend all while supporting you.

When I check for dysfunction, the first thing I’ll do is see where in your back things feel stuck. Hone in on the segments that have the least mobility and help you regain that flexibility by the end. Each vertebra corresponds to other parts of your body, some can impact nearly everything (and vice versa) while others are more associated with arms, legs, certain organs etc. Counterstrain helps you achieve spinal flexibility so you can get back to your roots.
