Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and engaging Safety Instructor to deliver high-quality safety training courses to students, employees, and industry professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, real-world safety experience, and a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities

>Conduct classroom, virtual, and hands-on safety training sessions.
>Deliver instruction in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
>Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and training materials.
>Evaluate student performance through assessments, demonstrations, and participation.
>Maintain accurate attendance, certification, and training records.
>Ensure a safe, professional, and engaging learning environment.
>Stay current with industry regulations, safety practices, and certification requirements.
>Assist with curriculum updates and program development as needed.

Qualifications

>Previous experience teaching, training, or instructing adults preferred.
>Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.
>Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
>Ability to engage diverse groups of learners.
>Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Certifications (One or More)

>OSHA Authorized Trainer
>CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor Certification
>HAZWOPER Instructor Certification
>Construction or General Industry Safety Certifications
>Other relevant safety and compliance certifications

Happy Valentines Day and National Heart Month from Swift Safety Institute! ❤️

Did you know that in 1964 Lyndon B. Johnson made a proclamation that February would be National Heart Month?

Since that time, our country has done research, training, and brought awareness to cardiovascular health, cardiovascular disease, and how to respond to a cardiac emergency.

How you can help your heart? ❤️
• Eat foods that nourish your body
• Exercise
• Try to get adequate sleep
• Lower Stress

How to help others? ❤️
• Learn the signs of cardiac arrest and cardiovascular disease
• Get trained to help others if an emergency arises.
