This is a great resource highlighting the differences between music therapy and music lessons, while showing the overlap with adapted music lessons. At Elim Music Therapy, we offer in home music therapy sessions as well as adapted music lessons. Contact us for more information.

There is a difference between music therapy and music lessons, but the two can overlap. Adapted music lessons can be used to help individuals learn how to play different instruments, but also address other goals such as cognitive development and fine motor control.
