I sat down with a developmental editor, and (after some close consideration) we decided to edit some things. Annnddd that leaves me re-writing several chapters. 🫠😭🤣😅 I'm honestly not mad about it. I couldn't make the ending stick well, and after some discussion we got it to where I wanted it to be. It's worth it. It'll be beautiful.

I hope (at least) it'll leave the readers reveling in the aftermath.

Draft 1 is complete. Draft 2 is roughly 25% complete after the discussion 🫣

I am in phase 2 of drafting my book, and I'm in need of an editor soon 😅🫣 Yes, I know professional ones. HOWEVER, I am looking for someone to work one-to-one with and most of my editors have a heavy workload that doesn't allow for that.

Here's what I need:
👉 Someone who has at least a high school education or equivalent to one
👉 Someone who is enthusiastic about grammar, style, tone, formatting, sentence structure, etc.
👉 Someone who can give constructive feedback and improve the book
👉 Someone who is tech savvy and can manipulate a separate copy of the manuscript with notes
👉Someone who is reliable and can meet [flexible] deadlines and keep me on track with deadlines
👉 Someone who can keep secrets 🤫
👉 Must enjoy Dark Romance Crime Thriller chaos
👉 Wouldn't mind having their name as editor on the book
👉 CAN ATTEND A RELEASE PARTY WITHIN THE NEXT YEAR
🖤 This would be an ideal side job for someone who would be as passionate about this as I am.
