How do you start your mornings?

The water is a must every morning! The movement sometimes varies and if I’m not feeling any movement, I sit on a vibration plate with my herbal tea😵‍💫💞☕️

My tea or coffee comes after my shower. Tea sometimes comes before since it doesn’t haven’t caffeine- allowing your body to avoid caffeine for an hour can help you hydrate and break the addiction.

Lunch on the road!

I work out of my car, so it can be very tempting and easy to stop for food. However knowing most options are 1. Costly & 2. Not healthy, I opt to pack a lunch 90% of the time.

The toughest part is I have to find foods that don’t need to be reheated, although I could probably cook it on my dashboard on sunny days 😆.

Most would think salads or sandwiches are the obly options, but salads are annoying to prepare & to eat on the go and most sandwiches won’t provide you the best nutrients to keep you fueled for the afternoon.

Today I had quinoa with cucumber, shredded coconut and portabello mushroom! Adding avocado or feta cheese would have really made this perfect 🤌 but it was definitely a nice change to some of my carb free usuals ⤵️

My go to’s are cottage cheese, yogurt, or hard boiled eggs for proteins. Then jazz it up with a healthy fats to keep me full and another tasty side.

Yogurt - I like to add coconut and chia seeds. This fills you up and keeps you regular 💩

Cottage cheese and or hard boiled eggs usually go with an avocado (I love them), and pair with kimchi, beets, cucumbers or some other veggie I don’t mind eating cold or room temp.

Eating on the road isn’t always optimal, but making the choice to do it right is.

I take the time to find a peaceful spot and enjoy my meal.

June Schedule!

As of now, class is scheduled every Monday & Wednesday at and Thursdays at Friendship Center.

I’ll continue to post on Fridays, but you can anticipate most Fridays at Choccolocco Park at 6:30am!!

Looking to add Sunday evening at the park too… so be sure to check in for updates 🙃

Grain Free Zucchini Tortilla Chicken Tacos! Let me just say this is going to be a staple in my home 😋

🌮 these tacos shells are a soft shell and held up!

🌮 recipe 🧀

1 zucchini (shredded and squeeze out water)
1/2 c. shredded parmesan cheese
3/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1/2 tablespoon potato starch

Mix ingredients. Spread onto parchment paper (in a pan). Bake on 400 for 20 minutes 🤌

🤤 load with your favorite taco ingredients and chow down!!

This could be used for a breakfast sandwich too!

I always thought I was healthy… yoga, balanced eating, daily movement, and a focus on mental wellness. Despite my efforts, I struggled with stubborn weight, minimal muscle gain, cravings, and fatigue.
In 2025, bloodwork revealed a vitamin B deficiency and autoimmune issues. With guidance from my doctor, I made significant nutrition changes, including adding more animal protein and eliminating processed foods.
The results? Less bloating, no cravings, more energy, increased strength, and finally losing the weight I couldn’t seem to budge.
Now I’m completing my board certification as a Primal Health & Wellness Coach and learning the science behind what truly helps us thrive.
Health isn’t about restriction, calorie counting, or chasing the next diet. It’s about finding what works for your body and creating sustainable habits that help you feel your best.

Big changes are happening and I’m so excited to finally share them! ✨

I’m currently working toward becoming a certified Health & Wellness Coach, something that truly aligns with my passion for living a healthier, happier, and more balanced life.

As I continue growing, this page will be transitioning from simply yoga into a more complete wellness space under the name Balanced Living Co. 💚

My mission is to help others improve their physical & mental well-being through movement, mindfulness, realistic nutrition & lifestyle habits. I believe wellness should be balanced and feel simple, sustainable, & accessible....not overwhelming.

As some of you know, Sylina and I have been having conversations about bringing yoga to …. And now it’s finally here!! Beginning tomorrow, Monday & Wednesday classes will be held at . You will need to use the MindBody App to reserve your spot. You can also buy class packages and use them for yoga or Pilates!!

Thursday classes will continue through May at the Friendship Center and will transition to Studio 31 in June.

Friday mornings will continue to be at Choccolocco Park when the weather is in our favor.

As of now, the only day I can’t teach is Monday, May 18.

I can’t wait to see everyone at Studio 31!!
