The Palatka Police Athletic League, in cooperation with the Palatka Police Department, City of Palatka, and Putnam County Parks and Recreation, strives for the continual improvement of the residents of Palatka and Putnam County through broad based recreational and competitive athletic programs and youth leadership opportunitities. It is the mission of the Palatka Police Athletic League to provide

a system of well-balanced, safe recreational opportunities, programs and services that will encourage personal growth, health, and fitness, while also inhibiting the incidence of risk-related behavior among young people, such as a substance abuse, violence, teenage preganancy and crime.

🐘🦒 Camp Higher Ground Takes on the Jacksonville Zoo! 🦓🌿

What an amazing day of fun, exploration, and learning at the Jacksonville Zoo! Our campers had the opportunity to discover incredible animals from around the world, learn about wildlife and conservation, and create unforgettable memories together.

From exciting exhibits to lots of smiles and laughter, this trip was the perfect blend of adventure and education. Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible!

At Camp Higher Ground, every adventure is another opportunity to learn, grow, and explore. 💚

Registration is now open!!!!!

You can now sign up for the City of Palatka Recreation Department’s 2026 Youth NFL FLAG Football League. This co-ed league is open to kids and teens ages 4 to 15, with groups for ages 4 to 6, 7 to 9, 10 to 12, and 13 to 15.

The fee is $50 per participant, and there are sibling discounts if you register two or more children.

Registration is open until September 5, 2026. To sign up, scan the QR code on the flyer or visit palatkarec.leagueapps.com/events.
