Today at Nested Story, we slowed things down and enjoyed a little well-deserved pampering! On a rainy Sunday afternoon, the staff decided to give our ladies a spa day! From relaxing spa treatments and fresh nails to plenty of laughter and girl talk, our ladies were reminded that self-care has no age limit.

Because sometimes the best medicine is a little polish, a little pampering, and feeling absolutely beautiful.

We gathered around a table filled with the flavors, colors, music, and spirit of the Greek Isles. But as always, the best part wasn’t simply what was on the table—it was who was gathered around it.

At Nested Story, we believe a meal can be so much more than food. It can transport us, connect us, awaken memories, and give us a brand-new story to tell.

❤️ This Is What Care Looks Like. ❤️

No one asked her to do it. It wasn’t on the activity calendar. It wasn’t part of her assignment.

One of our incredible team members,Sally, simply decided that every lady at Nested Story deserved to be taken on a special dinner date. 🌷

One by one, she has created an evening just for them—a chance to get dressed up, sit at a special table with a menu that each lady requests to Sally and they enjoy meaningful conversation, and feel truly special. She even buys them their favorite flowers.

These are the moments that tell the real story of Nested Story. Care isn’t always found on a checklist. Sometimes it looks like giving your time, creating a memory, and reminding someone just how much they matter.

We couldn’t be more proud of a team that doesn’t just care for our ladies—they genuinely care about them. ❤️

Well, shiver me timbers… we had surprise visitors sail into Nested Story!

Our ladies gathered ‘round as our pirate guests shared tales from the high seas, bringing plenty of laughter, a little mischief, and maybe even a secret or two about buried treasure.

At Nested Story, we believe some of the best days are the unexpected ones—the ones that make us laugh, spark our imaginations, and give us another story worth telling.

For the first time, Nested Story’s Associate of the Year ended in a tie, after being nominated by their peers and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate TWO incredible winners!

These two team members embody what Nested Story is all about—showing up with compassion, giving from the heart, going the extra mile, and loving our ladies like family. Their dedication may not always happen in the spotlight, but it is felt every single day in the smiles, comfort, laughter, and trust of those they care for.

As we reflect on two years of serving and loving our community, I wanted to share a very impactful and meaningful text I recently received from a family member. As we shared it with the team, it was so powerful and a reminder that we are doing the right thing, even when it’s hard, sometimes more costly, and oftentimes not what everyone else is doing. We do it differently… and that’s on purpose!

“I know grandma had such a fabulous last ten months and now she’s at peace. I was telling a friend that so many places people go to die, but I truly believe grandma came to nested story to live.”

Two years ago, Nested Story opened its doors with a simple but powerful belief: Assisted living could be done better..

It could feel like home.
It could honor each woman’s story.
It could be filled with laughter, purpose, friendship, faith, family, and moments that truly matter.

Today, we celebrate two incredible years of touching lives, creating memories, and transforming the way senior living is done.

We’ve learned that the most meaningful moments aren’t always the big ones. They’re found around the kitchen table, in conversations on the porch, in a favorite song, a shared laugh, a warm hug, and in knowing that you are truly known, seen and loved.

To every lady who has called Nested Story home, every family who has trusted us, and every associate who has poured their heart into our mission—thank you for becoming part of our story.

Two years down…and we’re only getting started.
