I have been sitting in Philippians 4:6 this week, and I keep coming back to two words most translations walk right past.
Nothing. Everything.

Paul puts them in the same sentence on purpose. Nothing gets your anxiety. Everything gets your prayer. Same territory. Opposite response.

For a long time I read that verse as an instruction to care less. To talk myself down. To be a person who has it together enough not to be undone by the thing.
That is not in the text.

He never asks you to shrink what is heavy. He tells you where to carry it. The weight stays the size it actually is. It just does not stay in your hands.

If you lead worship, you know the version of this that shows up on a Sunday.

The pressure to have it settled before you walk out. You do not have to be past it. You have to know where to put it.

Part one of three.
Save it for the week you need it.

The high note you keep straining for might come down to one breath.

If your throat closes when you reach up, the note gets squeezed and tight. Your body is working against you, and you can hear it.

Try this instead. Make your “surprise face” and breathe in. Feel how open the back of your throat gets? That openness is the space that gives your high notes warmth and ease.

Your voice lives in your body, so how you breathe changes how you sing. It’s a small shift, but it makes a real difference.

Save this for Sunday.

The doors are open.

The Foundation and Advanced courses are live. Correct technique for longevity, so you can lead a full weekend of services and still have your voice, and your Monday.

If you took the assessment, you already know which one is yours. This is your next step.

I'm away with my family right now, resting my own voice too, so I built all of this to be ready the moment you are. Come in when you're ready.

In my free worship leader class, so many of you were asking the same thing. Not deep philosophical questions on why you show up the way you do. The practical tools.

How to use your voice correctly when you lead. How to stop straining for high notes. How to not run out of breath by the second service. All the things that hit you every single weekend.

So I built a course around what you actually need.

You don’t need a different voice. You need a trained one.

There are two ways in.
- The Foundation, for the voice that’s tired and rationed by the weekend.
- The Advanced, for the voice that wants to go further with longevity and strength.

Comment COURSE and I’ll send it to you!

Here's what's actually inside the Foundation course.

Module 1: Where your voice actually lives. Not in your throat. I'll show you the difference in 30 seconds and you'll feel it immediately.

Module 2: Your talking voice is the reason your singing voice is tired. We fix the habit you've been building all week without realizing it.

Module 3: How to warm up in a way that actually protects you instead of just feeling like you did something.

Module 4: Resonance. This is where the sound changes. This is the module people come back to.

Module 5: The full practice audio track. My voice walking you through every exercise. Then the same track with just the piano, for when you want to work on your own.

Five modules. About 40 minutes total. Technique that works whether you're leading four services a weekend or one.

The Advanced course goes further into the harder work: strain, the high notes that cost you, how to trade force for technique in the places your voice runs out.

Both courses are live tomorrow. Take the assessment tonight if you haven't. It'll tell you exactly which one to start with. Link in bio.

You haven't lost your voice. You've just been protecting it.

There's a version of this story I hear over and over. A worship leader who showed up fully for years, who sang with everything they had, who led people into real moments. And then somewhere along the way, without quite noticing when it happened, they got smaller.

Not because something broke. Because they learned the room. They learned what was wanted. And they quietly made themselves fit it, Sunday after Sunday, until the smaller version started to feel like the only version they had.

The voice is still there. It's just underneath a lot of careful.

I built the assessment for every leader who knows their voice isn't quite showing up the way it was designed to, whether that's technique, or something older and quieter than technique. Naming which one is the first thing.

Doors open tomorrow. If something in you just stirred, that's the one to listen to. Link in bio, or comment VOICE and I'll send it over.

You've been singing at about sixty percent for so long it feels normal. Saving it. Protecting it. Holding a little back, every time.

The part that may sting a little is that your team has never actually heard what you sound like at full strength. They've been mixing the careful version of you.

That sixty percent is not your ceiling. It's an untrained muscle, and a muscle can be built.

Comment VOICE and I'll send you the free assessment, so you can see how much more is in there.

Friday the courses open, and I want you walking in already knowing which one is yours.

Tomorrow I pack up the car and head out of town with my family, so I'm saying this today. Take the assessment now, while it's on your mind. It's free, it takes about three minutes, and it puts your first step in front of you before the doors ever open.
