"but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."

PIsahaaiah 40:31

Sometimes strength looks like running a marathon.

Sometimes strength looks like asking for help.

Sometimes strength looks like scheduling that pelvic floor appointment you've been putting off.

God's definition of strength isn't perfection. It's trusting Him while taking the next faithful step.

Reflection: Strength isn't doing everything alone.

17 years. ❤️

3 kids later, countless memories, lots of adventures, and more laughter than I ever could have imagined.

We've built a beautiful life together—one filled with baseball games, family vacations, inside jokes, and all the ordinary moments that ended up meaning the most.

Thank you for being my partner through every season, for loving me well, and for making this journey so much fun.

17 years down, and I'm still grateful I get to do life with you.

Here's to 50 more years of love, laughter, and making memories together. 🥂❤️

Love this perspective!!

MTHFR has become one of the most talked-about genetic mutations in the wellness world.

But having an MTHFR variant doesn't mean you're broken. It doesn't mean you're destined for poor health. And it definitely doesn't mean you get a free pass to ignore the basics.

Your body still needs the foundations:
✨ Real food
✨ Quality sleep
✨ Movement
✨ Stress management
✨ Proper nutrient support
✨ Reducing toxic overload

Too often people find out they have an MTHFR variant and immediately focus on supplements while continuing habits that are keeping their body under stress.

Genes may influence how your body functions, but your daily choices influence how those genes are expressed.

Stop looking for a diagnosis to explain why you feel bad and start supporting the body you've been given.

Your body is always communicating. The question is: are you listening?

Warm up in my 40s:
✨ 5 minutes of stretching
✨ 3 minutes of deep breathing
✨ A quick prayer
✨ Apply icy hot to the low back
✨ Wonder why your knee made that noise

By the time I'm actually ready to work out, I've completed a full self-care retreat.

But for real, connecting your breath to your deep core and pelvic floor and getting the hips open are great strategies to incorporate into your pre-workout warmup!!

Anyone else spend more time preparing to exercise than actually exercising? 😂

"Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

As women, we're often praised for doing more, giving more, and carrying more. But God never asked us to earn our worth through exhaustion.

Whether you're navigating motherhood, healing postpartum, managing menopause, or simply trying to keep up with life's demands, remember that rest is not laziness—it's obedience.

Your body heals best when it's supported, nourished, and allowed to recover.

Reflection: What would it look like to give yourself permission to rest this week?

Raising Awareness in Gymnasts - Early Matters

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to present a seminar on the pelvic floor, core, and breathing mechanics for the athletes at .

When we think about pelvic floor dysfunction, many people assume it's only a concern during pregnancy or after childbirth. The reality is that pelvic floor symptoms can affect young athletes too—especially those participating in high-impact sports like gymnastics, ballet, dance, cheerleading, and trampoline.

Research has found that urinary leakage and other pelvic floor symptoms occur in adolescent female athletes at surprisingly high rates, with studies reporting prevalence ranging from 18% to 80% and an average of nearly 49% among adolescent female athletes. High-impact activities place significant demands on the pelvic floor, core, and breathing system.

Studies have also shown that many young athletes have never been taught about pelvic floor function and may not feel comfortable discussing symptoms when they occur.

That's why education is so important.

💙 Understanding how the diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor work together
💙 Learning healthy breathing strategies
💙 Recognizing that leaking is common, but not something athletes should simply accept
💙 Creating an environment where young athletes feel comfortable asking questions

Whether it's a gymnast sticking a landing, a ballerina performing jumps, or a dancer spending hours in rehearsal, these athletes deserve the knowledge and tools to support their bodies for both performance and lifelong health.

A huge thank you to Coach Bri from Legacy Gymnastics for helping bring awareness to a topic that deserves more attention. The earlier we start these conversations, the better equipped our young athletes will be for the future. 🌟
