Turning 44 feels different.
I found a photo of a little girl who smiled easily, dreamed big, and somehow always found her way. She didn’t have all the answers. She didn’t know what life would ask of her. But she kept going.
Looking at her now, I realize she’s still here.
She’s just a little older. A little wiser. A little more weathered. She’s loved deeply, lost deeply, questioned herself, started over more than once, and learned that finding your way isn’t something you do once. It’s something you do over and over again.
At 44, I’m still becoming.
Still unlearning.
Still healing.
Still growing.
Still choosing myself in ways that younger me didn’t know she could.
Life hasn’t looked the way I imagined it would, but somehow it’s become exactly the journey I needed.
Here’s to the little girl who never stopped believing there was something beautiful ahead… and to the woman who’s finally learning to trust that she’s capable of finding her way, no matter where the path leads.
Happy 44 to me. 🤍
