Pregnant? Postpartum? Busy woman invested in her health?

My top 3 recommendations to have on hand.
1. Bone Broth: packed rich with nutrients, hydrating and wonderful to sip on, use for your base in soups/stews and stores great in the freezer.
2. Herbal infusion: nothing soothes a heart and mind more than a cup of Mother Earth, sweetened with a little honey. My preferred blend is: Hibiscus Flower, dandelion, nettle, oatstraw and lemon verbena.
3. Tomato Sauce: packed with 3 types of meat, 9 different veggies and stored in the freezer in family sized portions, all purpose use for quick meals (spaghetti, Stromboli, soups, pizza). You can alter the add ins however you like, but it’s a great way to get in veggies and protein easily.

What are your go-tos??

It’s unreal to stay booked up, but what a great problem to have.
Why do we set a monthly due date cap?
❤️ To protect the birth team
❤️ decrease the odds of not being present at a birth
❤️ protects longer appointment times in office
❤️ allows for more thorough postpartum support
❤️ keeps you a real person/face and not just a number
Midwife care is very personal and tailored. We work hard to align expectations with what we can provide and that’s best done when we are present with you. Being a 2 man team (but growing to 3-4 soon), we try very hard not to miss anything, but safety always takes priority and having a work/life balance is important.
Creating boundaries are protective for everyone and that makes our practice sustainable for the long haul, and unique.
We are thankful for a supportive organization, amazing collaborating docs, an office staff that is incredible and a nursing staff that is THE best around. Without the entire team, it wouldn’t be possible to stay full and to keep the lights on to welcome more families!
So, if you’re planning a repeat birth with us or not yet expecting, keep these dates in mind and plan accordingly! ❤️❤️

Discernment. The ability to judge well.
Tik Tok. IG. Facebook. Snapchat. YouTube. Artificial Intelligence. Chat GPT. Your mom group. Your care providers. Your crazy aunt Ruby. Your best friends cousin.
Voices, surround us all now without ceasing. Our consciousness flooded with an overload of information and advice, often unsolicited. An algorithm that feeds you another hit of what it has decided best serves you.
But what do you take heart in? What can you lock in as truth?
Jesus says I am the way. THE truth and the life. That is the only truth I know of with absolute certainty.
In your pursuit of all the decisions of the day, mamas, I encourage you to use your discernment more carefully than ever. Comb over claims you hear and see online and turn back to your ancestral wisdom when making decisions for your body, your baby and your home. Find real sources, verified and trustworthy. Not that profit off your decision, but that have your interest at heart.
Trust yourself. Be not led astray from all the noise, and if it seems crazy, it probably is.
