It’s been about 45 days since I shared that I needed to step away for a short time to focus on my health, and I wanted to give a small update to everyone who has checked in, prayed, and supported me during this season.
Over the last couple of months, I was hit with several health issues all at once, and honestly, it became overwhelming. Looking back, my body had been trying to warn me for a long time, but I didn’t fully realize how much was going on until it finally said, “enough.”
I went through a biopsy after a lump was found, and thankfully it came back benign. While that was a huge relief, I was still feeling very unwell. After more testing and listening to my body more closely, I found out I’ve been dealing with major blood sugar spikes and prediabetes, which was a shock because I truly believed I was eating fairly healthy. On top of that, many symptoms I thought were connected only to POTS and dysautonomia turned out to be linked to a severe gluten intolerance/allergy that my body simply couldn’t tolerate anymore.
So lately, life has looked a little different. I’ve been learning how to eat differently, slow down, heal, and truly listen to my body. It’s been an adjustment emotionally, physically, and mentally, but also a reminder that health is something we can’t ignore when our bodies are asking for change.
I’m still navigating this journey and taking things one step at a time, but I do plan on slowly easing back into things when the timing feels right. I may not know exactly what that looks like yet, but I wanted you all to know I’m still here, still healing, and deeply grateful for your patience and support.
Thank you for being part of this community and for allowing me the space to take care of myself. 🤍
