This week we celebrated Women’s Equality Day, commemorating the certification of the 19th Amendment on August 26, 1920, and the constitutional right of women to vote.

We also had another reason to celebrate! 🎉 Congratulations to our AIT, Kristen, on passing her test and becoming an Administrator at just 22 years old! What an incredible accomplishment. We are so proud of you, Kristen. Way to go! 👏

🌻😎 What better way to celebrate a beautiful sunny day than by painting sunflowers?

Residents spent the afternoon getting creative with Bailey from Awakening Minds Art, who skillfully guided everyone step-by-step in bringing these bright, cheerful blooms to life. From brushstrokes to finishing touches, each masterpiece was as unique as the artist behind it!

🎳 Back by popular demand, bowling is officially a monthly favorite! Julio and the Athena Nursing students helped set the stage, and our Manor residents were ready to knock those pins down. There were plenty of laughs, lots of cheers, and just the right amount of friendly competition. What a fun-filled day!

💙 Today, the team at Manor at Perrysburg had the opportunity to visit Mercy Health Perrysburg Hospital and deliver some sweet treats to the nursing staff as a small token of our appreciation for all they do for our community.

It was a wonderful afternoon spent meeting these dedicated nurses, thanking them for their hard work, and treating them to delicious Nothing Bundt Cakes bundtinis! 🧁 We are grateful for their compassion, commitment, and the exceptional care they provide every day.

Happy 81st Birthday, Barb! 🎂🎉

Barb, a beloved resident of many years at The Manor at Perrysburg, recently celebrated her 81st birthday in style! Her family planned an amazing surprise birthday party that brought smiles to everyone in the building. They generously provided cake and ice cream for all the residents and staff to enjoy, making the celebration even more special.

The party was truly a team effort, with staff throughout the building coming together to help create an unforgettable day for Barb. The festivities featured music from resident DJ Big Daddy, who kept the energy high as he spun tunes from his colorful speaker. Angie wowed the crowd with her fan dancing skills 💃, and even the birthday girl herself joined in on the fun, showing off some impressive moves on the dance floor!

The afternoon was filled with laughter, music, dancing, and wonderful memories shared among friends and family. 81 never looked so good, Barb! Wishing you a year filled with happiness, good health, and many more reasons to celebrate. 🎈🎁🎉

🍽️ Some of us were craving biscuits and gravy, others wanted fresh salads topped with cranberries and nuts, and some couldn't resist pancakes, bacon, eggs, toast, and sausage! So... we decided Bob Evans was the perfect place to satisfy everyone's tastes!

We had the best time enjoying our favorite meals and catching up with one another over great food and even better company. ❤️

A special thank you to Lisa (BOM) for swooping in and bringing some organization to our delicious chaos! 😊 Your willingness to step in and help never goes unnoticed. Thank you for always putting our residents first. 💕
