A simple text. A quick call. A “thinking of you.” 💛

Sometimes we don’t realize how much someone is carrying beneath the surface. The people who seem the strongest, funniest, busiest, or most “put together” may still be navigating stress, grief, loneliness, burnout, or overwhelm quietly.

This is your reminder to check in on your people — not just when things look hard, but because connection and care matter every day. 🌿

And while you’re at it, check in on yourself too. You deserve care, softness, and support just as much as everyone else.

Give an appreciation shoutout to the one who has checked in on you in the past!

In celebration of International Family Day, we’re reflecting on how family is experienced and redefined across Asian American communities. Family can hold tradition, love, complexity, and healing all at once—and for many, it continues to evolve across generations and identities.🧡

MTCC - Honoring Healing & Heritage this May 🌱🥭 -

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month—a time not just for celebration, but for meaning-making. For many of us in the diaspora, identity is not static. It is something inherited, questioned, reshaped, and ultimately re-authored.

“Sometimes it feels like my life exists in that quiet tension… somewhere between messy duck and put together swan.” 🦢

In her newest blog post, Mango Tree clinician Debbie Diep reflects on anxiety, perfectionism, productivity, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together while still wanting a full and meaningful life.

“Letting My Anxiety Breathe” is an honest reflection on burnout, neurospiciness, toxic positivity, ambition, softness, and learning to offer yourself compassion that feels real—not performative.

This piece is for anyone who feels like they’re balancing just enough that one thing going wrong can make everything wobble. 💛

AANHPI Heritage Month
Healing is part of our heritage.
We carry stories of migration, sacrifice, and resilience—
but also silence, pressure, and pain.
Mental health is how we reclaim our voice.
Our truth. Our wholeness.
