This Thursday, join us at Celebrate Recovery Neshoba for Lesson 8: MORAL.

This lesson challenges us to take an honest look at our lives, our choices, and the things that may be keeping us stuck. Through God’s grace, we can begin to uncover the root causes of our hurts, habits, and hang-ups and take an important step toward healing and freedom.

The focus isn’t removing a substance, but rather, healing the wounds that made us believe we needed it in the first place. The reality is this- if we simply remove a substance, we will fill that gap with something. In the absence of allowing God to fill that void, we will continue unhealthy patterns of seeking, avoidance, self-harm, pride and selfishness.

CR goes far beyond substances, addressing a wide variety of hurts, habits, and hang ups. The steps guide us in surrendering to God’s Lordship in our lives, examining our shortcomings, and allowing Him to meet us there, experiencing true freedom and transformation in Christ!
