Our dearly departed ram, 
Guardian of the grounds of the hallowed Honey Hollow Farm.

How we miss you grazing in the grass, greeting the guests as they arrive with your calming energy.  If your eyes could talk, they would have so many stories to share. Like portals they usher us into your soul’s gentle and steady knowing.

So aptly named, Esteban meaning crowned in honor, you were brought to us from the streets of Philadelphia, to lead a long, peaceful and honorable life.

A heartfelt thank you to for capturing his essence so beautifully, transporting this masterpiece from the high vibrational energy of San Miguel de Allende to our precious Rivertowns. It is so rich in color, texture and energy. You’ve brought our boy to life again, exquisitely capturing the magic of his being and the wisdom reflected in his eye.

What a gift you have dear Kelly. Thank you for this lovely tribute to our celestial companion.

Portals….

From the time we make our way through life’s passageway and take our first breaths, to the moment we exit, taking our last, we are met with innumerable portals. Shape shifting through various forms, portals manifest in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms.

They are thresholds of connection between experiences: glimpses, moments, openings inviting us towards a new perspective. From dawn to dusk, and dusk to dawn, portals are illuminated throughout, speaking to all our senses…

We find them through passageways, in cloudbreaks, at seashores, at the edge of the woods, atop the mountain ridges, and in meadow clearings…

We experience them in the journeys we take, the music we listen to, the stories we share, the art we create, and the meals we make. It’s at the cross section where bitter meets sweet, pain meets relief, confusion meets clarity, longing meets belonging.

They speak to us in whispers, then in roars. They are explorations of something new that we can integrate into our being.

They are renewals, the space between what we exhale & inhale that settles within our bodies, guiding us to what is next.

Perhaps you have experienced portals of your own: in a conversation, on a nature walk, through a story.

Give yourself the time and space to notice.

A portal is always opening, beckoning, waiting.

Fresh starts.

We find them. Seasonally. Annually. Daily. From moment to moment.

The beauty of our own journeys is that we are always being offered another one.

A fresh start is our chance to take everything we’ve reflected on in quieter, slower moments and let it become a seed.

To develop that voice, that inkling, that inspiration within us and breathe it into something new.

We give our ideas our intention. Our breath. So they may gather momentum.

And we also know, like anything we plant, what is new needs time to take root before it can grow with strength.
We meet it with equal parts nurture and surrender.

Even though this is the season of fresh starts and flourishing, it doesn’t look the same for all of us.

We each develop at our own rhythm. Our own timing.

We do what we can. We offer our best. And then we trust the timing.

An art workshop on healing…

Healing comes in many forms.

Sometimes it arrives quietly, through the movement of a brush, the layering of texture, the act of creating something new from something lost.

On April 26th, we invite you to gather at Honey Hollow Farm for an intimate spring workshop guided by local artist Danielle Sapienza, in a tender, supportive space to honor grief and gently transform it into something beautiful.

In the soft unfolding of spring at Honey Hollow Farm, surrounded by renewal and possibility, you’ll be guided through a thoughtful creative process.

We are ever so eagerly awaiting the arrival of spring in all its glory... longer days, warmer weather, buds of blossoms just waiting for the ideal moment to bloom.
We were so delighted to have Susan Elkind joined by Kate Sheldrick for a Sacred Sunday afternoon of self-care. Although the weather wasn’t quite spring forward, we made the most of our experience by tapping into the worlds within us, taking pause to breathe and reflect on all the elements and experiences we want to call into our beings and for each other in the new season.
We rooted ourselves outside, infusing our being with all the elements. We sat with hawthorn and rosehip for a meditative tea ceremony, moved our bodies through a yin yoga practice, and gave ourselves a facial steam using some of our favorite plant allies: rose, lavender, calendula, and tulsi, to name a few. We nourished our bodies with delectable treats and connected with other like-minded women in the community.
Thank you Sue & Kate for sharing your offerings here at Honey Hollow Farm. We are looking forward to the next Nourish in Nature workshop in May. 🌿
