💙🖤 June is Men’s Health Month, and all month long I’ll be giving flowers to the men—past and present—whose lives, leadership, strength, and humanity have made a difference.
Today, I honor two legends: 🥊 Muhammad Ali and my father, Anthony Jones.
Muhammad Ali was more than a champion boxer. He was a humanitarian, activist, entertainer, and a man who stood boldly in his convictions. Known for his charisma, confidence, generosity, and unforgettable presence, Ali left a legacy that extends far beyond the ring.
As I reflect on my father, I see many of those same qualities.
My dad was larger than life. He never simply entered a room—he arrived. 😂🎶 His laugh was loud, his energy was contagious, and he had a gift for bringing people together. A former DJ, sports fanatic 🦅, traveler ✈️, dancer 💃🏾, protector, and school police officer, he dedicated his life to serving others while making sure everyone around him had a good time.
Like Ali, he was strong, confident, giving, and impossible to forget.
While the world remembers Muhammad Ali for changing history, I remember my father for changing lives—one conversation, one laugh, one act of kindness, and one moment of protection at a time.
Dad, your voice may be gone, but your impact remains. Your lessons, your joy, and your legacy continue to live on through all of us fortunate enough to have known you.
Today, I celebrate your life, your contribution, and your enduring influence.
🥊✨ You are, and always will be, my Muhammad Ali.
