What I love about what I do is how I can work in partnership with my clients, and how they understand that sometimes collaboration is from wisdom, and often times collaboration can be the best preparation to the birth they want.

Home birth is not just for hippies, and it is not only for those who are perceived to have, “ a high pain tolerance”.
It is also not only for the rich, we got into this work to make it accessible, period!
I have observed home birth time and time again be for families who have….

- value client-led care
- who are committed to open communication with their providers
- who value an undisturbed approach to childbirth
…while hospital births have their place (especially in higher-risk situations), and we use the hospital and higher level care providers to insure that a home birth is a safe option for our clients, home birth is a safe option for many families experiencing a low risk pregnancy.
Every birth setting has its own benefits and risks—and I’d love to help you explore what’s right for you even if it may not be home birth, I just love talking to families about their options in general.
