sed certifications and loves engaging and inspiring kids! She has written several books, and teaches classes for adults - writing personal memoirs, designing expressive art journals, and creating unique, colorful abstract collages & paintings! She is the co-founder of the Art Oasis, CFO (Chief FUN Officer!) and a talented preschool teacher. She has always enjoyed modifying and embellishing clothing, and creating with beads, paint and collage. She loves teaching, planning parties and helping children and adults express themselves through storytelling and art. Together, they make an extraordinary creative team and are ready to help you plan and facilitate your next paint party or fundraising experience! How We Started:


In 2020 when Life as we knew it changed, Barbara's local Bucks County housekeeping service was severely affected and eventually closed permanently. Lauren's college classes were placed on hold indefinitely. and she was laid off from her job. Like many other families, they managed the best they could under isolation, financial tension, and uncertainty of the future. Barbara turned a storage area in her garage into a makeshift exercise room that morphed into a Meditation Room, then a podcast studio, then finally into small art studio, that she referred to as "The Oasis". That space was (and still is) an Oasis in the midst of chaos, that nourishes and gives refuge to the family as they express and process emotions, manage stress and focus on a future filled with truth, goodness, beauty, color, creativity, hope, happiness and healing. It is this same spirit that guides all of our programs - from our creative enrichment programs to our mobile and online art studio.

In our classroom, we believe in the power of creativity and play.

One way we nurture this is through process art, where the focus is on exploration, experimentation, and imagination rather than a finished “perfect” piece. While we DO offer some directed projects each child has the ability and is encouraged to design their own creation!

You may notice your child’s artwork looks different than what you would see or expect from a "typical" art program - and that’s the beauty of it! Each creation is a reflection of their thoughts, emotions, and curiosity. Through process art, your child is developing essential skills like fine motor coordination, problem-solving, self-concept and most importantly, self-expression.

We encourage you to ask your child about how they made their artwork. You’ll be amazed at the stories behind every splash of paint, piece of torn paper, tube with tape all over it or swirl of glue.

Want to try it at home? Keep it simple: Set up a little art space with paper, crayons, washable paints, yarn, stickers, washi tape or recycled materials; and let your child lead the way!

Yesterday during our reading time the kids got distracted as they were putting Flags by the head stones, one child looked out for a second and said "Miss auren, is that for amorial day, and I said yes it is do you know why we put flags? To which this child responded, "we put flags because the soliders died for our freedom, the same way jesus did, they made the ultimate sacrifice"

😭😭😭😭 These kids are so wholesome, and I wouldn't trade what I have, For anything lets not forget the reason we have a long weekend and BBQs and "the official start of summer"

Thank you to all the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
