🎀 Sis, let’s make our breast health a priority.

Between work, family, and everyone else’s needs, it’s easy to put our own health on the back burner. But taking care of ourselves matters, too! This month’s blog is all about breast health, building self-check habits, understanding personal risk factors, and knowing when to seek professional screening. Consider this your reminder to check in with your body, share what you learn with the women in your life, and make your health a priority.

Yesterday, we recognized Indigenous Peoples’ Day—a time to honor Indigenous peoples, their histories, cultures, resilience, and enduring connection to the land. As we reflect on this celebration, let’s continue learning about Indigenous communities, including the Lenape people and their ancestral homeland, Lenapehoking. May this day remind us of the importance of honoring history, respecting the land, and staying connected to the things that keep us grounded. 💚

Sometimes, the best thing you can do is simply pause. Give yourself a moment to step away from the noise, take a breath, and reconnect with what you need. 🌿

Sometimes, we carry things longer than we realize—unfinished thoughts, expectations, worries, responsibilities, and even things that were never ours to hold in the first place.

Consider this your reminder to check in with yourself. 🌿 What’s taking up too much space in your mind right now? What can you release, set aside, or simply stop trying to solve today?

You don’t have to figure everything out at once. Give your mind some room to breathe and save your energy for what truly deserves it. 💛

What are you ready to put down today?

Some things take time to process—and that’s okay. Give yourself the space to feel, reflect, and move forward at your own pace. 🌿

Your peace deserves a place on your priority list.

Who are you today? 🌿

Not who you were yesterday. Not who everyone expects you to be. And not even who you think you should be.

Just… who are you today?

We’re constantly growing, adjusting, learning, and discovering new parts of ourselves. Some days we feel confident and grounded. Other days, we’re still figuring it out—and both are allowed.

Take a moment to check in with yourself without judgment. Notice what you’re feeling, what you need, and who you’re becoming.

You don’t have to have the perfect answer. Just give yourself permission to be honest. 💛

So, who are you today?

Sometimes, grief asks us to remember differently. 🤍

July 13 is the day my grandmother died. But over the years, I’ve chosen to make it a day when I celebrate her life, too.

One year, my daughter and I spent the day making a cake my grandmother would have made. She wore her great-grandmother’s earrings while I told her stories about the woman she never got the chance to know the way I did.

And then I took these pictures. Looking at her smile, something stopped me. She looked just like my grandmother.

It was one of those quiet reminders that the people we love can remain present in so many ways—in our traditions, the stories we tell, the things they taught us, and sometimes even in the faces of the generations that come after them.

Reframing sadness doesn’t mean pretending the loss doesn’t hurt. It means allowing grief and love to share the same space. For me, July 13 can hold the sadness of losing my grandmother and the joy of keeping pieces of her story alive for my daughter.

Sometimes remembering is part of healing. And sometimes, celebrating a life becomes its own way of carrying love forward.

Sometimes you just need to pause, breathe, and give yourself a moment before trying again.

A setback doesn’t erase your progress, and needing a reset doesn’t mean you’ve failed. You’re allowed to regroup, change your approach, and start again as many times as you need.

So if today feels a little heavy, take the pressure off. Breathe. Reset. Try again when you’re ready. 🌿
