Juneteenth marks the day—June 19, 1865—when the last enslaved people in the U.S. were finally informed of their freedom, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It stands as a powerful reminder of the delayed promise of freedom and the celebration of history, progress, and culture.

Our office is closed today to recognize this day of reflection, education, and joy. We will be back to our normal hours Monday.

On this I stand as a survivor 💪🏾
At least 3 generations known of mothers who faced preeclampsia and made it throufh. It was bot easy and babies were lost along the way but I'm resting in gratitude. 💖

I will forever be an advocate and share my story so the entire world is aware of the symptoms. Healthcare options and supports must also be strengthened and I'm dedicated to take up space amidst every research study or policy meeting to ensure preeclampsia awareness and care is a priority.

Preeclampsia rates are on the rise in the U.S. and are a leading cause of maternal and infant illness and death. All women need to know the risk factors for developing high blood pressure during pregnancy - and that you can also have no risk factors, but still may develop it.
