What a magical evening at the LOVE Awards celebration last night! It was a beautiful evening with people who radiated warmth and gorgeous energy. I am so happy I got to connect with so many amazing businesses who are supporting families in different ways. They truly are “Community Builders.”
Thank you and team for creating an evening to remember.💫

Ps- It was fun to go out of my comfort zone in some ways and do some kitschy things. I had a blast!

December flew by, but completing the program with such a wonderful group of was a highlight. These parents are taking control of their narrative, seeking an experience that's empowering. I'm sending them love and support as they begin this new chapter. Parenting is a journey that starts with and shapes the experience and beyond. How to binge your shows and support baby’s position 🤰📺

I’ll start by saying this: you already have a LOT on your mind during pregnancy — please don’t add one more thing to stress about! But for those who have the brain space, this one’s simple and makes a real difference.

When we lounge with our tail tucked under, the pelvis can’t move as freely and space in the back of the pelvis narrows. One evening like that is fine, but months of it can lead to small imbalances between baby and pelvis.

Try lying on your side instead, letting your pelvis stay neutral and mobile — a pillow between the knees, feet toward your partner for a foot rub (bonus points 😉 tell them Lindsay says it’s for your birth prep). Cozy and body-friendly!

Looking forward to all the new fall shows! What should I queue up next (or what should others save for postpartum recovery??)

BRM is all about teaching you how to work smarter not harder to have a more comfortable pregnancy, easier birth, and smoother recovery!

This is perfect to remind you to welcome the sensation. Oddly enough, that is what can help labor progress. The only way baby can come is if we let the wave flow through our body and bring baby earth-side. If we create tension and resist the sensation then we inhibit the flow of labor.
So keep this affirmation in your mind when labor comes and you feel a sensation, smile and remind yourself how much you welcome it 💫

Wishing all of you new and expecting mamas a warm and happy New Year! 🤍

As you step into this new year—and into motherhood— remember it’s a becoming. It’s a season of deep growth, unfolding strength, and learning to trust yourself in new and powerful ways. Just like birth, this journey doesn’t always follow a straight path, but it always invites us to soften, to breathe, and to remain open to what’s possible.

May this year bring you faith in your inner wisdom, peace in your journey, and the knowledge that you already have everything you need within you.

Wishing you a year filled with calm moments, growth, and beautiful beginnings. 💕

Xo,
Estee

Heartfelt words from a beautiful couple I taught years ago…2 birth stories in one! Thank you Jerome and Chelsea and a belated congratulations 🎉!
“I want to sincerely apologize for how long it has taken us to write you a review. Our delay has nothing to do with our feelings about the class—it was one of the best things we’ve ever done—but everything to do with how life accelerated right after.
To give you a brief update: a few weeks after your class, we moved to Norristown, PA, and our first son was born. Nine months later, we moved to Delaware, where Chelsea began residency and I started law school. Now, we’re in our final year of training, and we have two amazing boys!
Your class gave us the tools to manage the everyday stressors of life and be more mindful adults and parents. Chelsea and I practiced the daily affirmations together until our son was born, which made us feel incredibly connected and at ease. That bonding time helped us build a lasting discipline of daily family reading and nighttime stories.

The techniques were invaluable during both births.

For our first: We played the affirmations in the car on the way to the hospital, which made the long drive feel less stressful. Your advice about controlling the atmosphere was perfect—we brought our diffuser, dimmed the lights, and played a playlist of worship songs and your relaxation tunes. Every nurse and doctor who entered our room commented on how calming it was. It fostered a smooth, safe, and positive delivery.

For our second: We decided to labor longer at home. The breathing techniques, stretches, and positions you taught us were crucial. We breathed through the surges, and by the time we arrived at the hospital, Chelsea was in active labor. She pushed for less than 10 minutes and delivered our second son safely—with no need for an epidural! I was shocked.

For both pregnancies, Chelsea delivered at term and did not need to be induced.

Thank you for the amazing work you do, Estee. Your class was informative, welcoming, and empowering. We have never stopped singing your praises and will continue to refer people to you.”

🌟B I R T H S T O R Y🌟

Congratulations to this beautiful family of four, Mallory and Mike (June 2025 class) on the birth of their new baby girl 🐣!

Here is her story 💗:
“Exactly one week ago, on August 25th at 4:06am, we welcomed our second daughter—Calliope Skye—earthside. I can’t believe it’s already been a week as a family of four. Time has flown, yet it feels impossible to remember life before we were all together ♥️
At 12:38am, I was jolted awake by deep, hollow pelvic cramps. I figured I just had to use the bathroom, but even after peeing, the cramps didn’t stop. Braxton Hicks, I told myself. I crawled back into bed, pillow between my legs, and started timing. Four contractions later, the app blared: “Go to the hospital.” I laughed—that’s just legalese, surely it says that to everyone. No way this was it. I lay there for ten more minutes, watching Penelope sleep, before finally getting up because lying still had become unbearable.

Mike had fallen asleep in the guest room, as he often does after late-night work. By the time I made it downstairs, the contractions had intensified. I had to stop, breathe, and move through them. One look at me under the bedroom light and he was instantly awake, calling his parents to come over.

Between contractions, I barked out instructions while he frantically packed the hospital bag I had planned to finish the next day. His parents arrived around 2am; we kissed our sleepy firstborn goodbye and headed out.

The car ride was, hands down, the most uncomfortable of my life—but I tried to stay loose and relaxed 😅. We pulled into Christiana at exactly 2:22 (my angel numbers!) and headed into triage. At that point, speaking was impossible; I just kept moving, while Mike handled registration.
The nurse checked the baby’s heart rate and my vitals—everything looked good. She asked me to change and give a urine sample, but I was sweating, contracting, and in no state to even try. I stripped off my shorts and braced for a cervical check, half-hoping I was still overreacting.

The Throat–Cervix Connection 🌀

Did you know that tension in your jaw or throat can directly affect your pelvis and cervix? It’s true — the body is deeply interconnected.

Doulas and birth workers often observe that when a birthing person holds tension in the throat or jaw, it can create tightness in the pelvis. That’s why during labor, they encourage vocalizing, jaw relaxation, and deep breathing—to help the body open and soften.

A relaxed mouth can support a relaxed cervix.
An open throat can support an open womb.

The body speaks in connection ❤️‍🔥

When you allow words to sit like lumps in your throat, you carry a mirroring tension in your uterus and pelvis.
