Tonight I had the honor and privilege to present someone with their 20 year sobriety chip where it all began at Native American Connections. My cup runneth over with gratitude for being asked to be a part of this amazing milestone in his life. It felt so good to be back in the community of love, hugs, and support of recovery. Thank you Vino for this gift and congratulations on your 20th year of freedom.

There’s been a heaviness in the air lately. Many of us are carrying sadness, fear, anger, and uncertainty about the world around us. When people feel unsafe, unheard, or unsupported, it impacts our nervous systems, our relationships, and our mental health. Especially when the violence and chaos come from people in power.

We want to clearly say what we stand for:
✨ Human rights
✨ LGBTQ+ safety, visibility, and belonging
✨ Safety for immigrants

You deserve to exist fully and safely as you are. You deserve care, protection, and respect. If you’re feeling angry, overwhelmed, discouraged, or scared by what you’re seeing and experiencing, you’re not alone and your feelings are valid.

This is a space for healing, grounding, connection, and hope. We’re honored to hold space for you. 🤍

Happy Holidays to all my family and friends near and far! I love you all so much and am so grateful to have you all in my life! As we muddle through these difficult times I ask that you all be merry, joyful and bright and be the light for others. Bring peace, safe haven and friendship to others.
