Supine postures are often misunderstood.

Lying down is seen as rest.
As something simpler.
Less demanding.

But in practice, the opposite happens.
When the body is on the floor,
movement is reduced.

And because movement is reduced—
compensation is reduced.

What you could adjust in standing
you can no longer adjust here.

The back meets the ground directly.
The sacrum reveals its position.
The spine reveals its habits.
The pelvis reveals its imbalance.

This is where practice becomes precise.
Not through effort—
but through observation.
The progression of supine work is not random.

It begins simply:
Knowing the back.
Feeling the weight.
Observing symmetry.

Then gradually—
One leg bends.
Both legs bend.
Legs lift.

Support is introduced.
Each stage reveals something new.

Not by adding complexity—
but by removing interference.

Supine postures do not reduce the work.
They remove the distractions.
