“Back from Break — Let’s Reconnect”

Hey friends — I’m back from a little break (July flew by, didn’t it?) and slowly finding my creative rhythm again.

Vacations are fun but so is getting back into a calming routine — especially the kind that includes crafting, self-care, and a moment to breathe.

✨ What’s something you’d love to create this August?
Whether it’s a full project or just the idea of slowing down with something crafty — share below.

Let’s make this a gentle, feel-good month 💛

🇺🇸 Happy July 4th Weekend! 🎆

I’m taking a little break this week to soak up some rest and inspiration — after all, even our creativity needs a vacation! 🌊✨

While I’m away, I hope you’ll take a moment to slow down, breathe, and maybe pick up a craft that brings you joy. Whether it’s a quick project or just gathering new ideas, remember: crafting is self-care, too.

I’ll be back soon with more creative calm for you! Until then, enjoy a safe, relaxing, and craft-filled holiday weekend. ❤️🤍💙

✨ Happy Monday, creative soul! ✨

Sometimes the start of a new week can feel…a lot. If you’re carrying a racing mind into Monday, here’s a simple reminder: your hands can help calm your head.

This week, I challenge you to make one tiny thing — even if it’s just a doodle on a sticky note or stringing a couple of beads. Small creative moments really do make a difference.

💛 If you feel up to it, share what you’re making in the comments — I’d love to cheer you on.

I made this little seashell bracelet last night with polymer clay beads and a seashell from Mexico.

This is one craft that is simple to do and is included in the self care craft box.

I wanted to share a bit of why I decided to make these boxes.

I’ve always take care of myself — moving my body, eating pretty well, looking after my family, working, doing all the “healthy” things. But honestly, my mind still felt like it was running a million miles an hour.

The only time I noticed everything slowed down was when I was making something. Just letting my hands work, even on something simple, gave me a sense of focus I couldn’t find anywhere else.

That’s what made me think — maybe other women feel this way too. Maybe we just need something small, easy, and comforting to bring us back to ourselves for a minute.

So I started putting together a box with a simple craft and a few calm, feel-good things, so you can have a reset moment whenever you need it.

It’s not fancy. It’s not perfect. But it is gentle. And it’s made for just needing a break and a way to focus on something peaceful.

Introducing💖

The “Calm the Craft Down” self care box

It’s a little bit crafty and a little bit of self care.

Inside this cozy little kit you’ll find:

⭐️ A DIY bracelet kit
⭐️ A calming candle
⭐️ An herbal tea bag
⭐️ 3 Affirmation cards
⭐️ A bath bomb

I’ve only made a few to start and I’m hoping this becomes the first of many small kits to get you crafting for self care.

This weekend, I’m giving myself permission to slow down.
Not by canceling everything or hiding from the world —
but by doing something small that feels like mine.

A little craft.
A quiet project.
Something simple that lets my hands move and my thoughts soften.

That’s what crafting is for me now.
Not a hobby… but a reset button I can actually reach.

If your brain’s been buzzing, your shoulders are tense, or you just need one thing to settle into —
pick up your yarn, your scissors, your paint, your paper.

Give yourself something quiet to look forward to this weekend.

💛 What’s on your table or in your basket right now? I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Quick check-in:

When you’re overwhelmed or fried, which sounds more like you?

YES – I scroll Pinterest and think,
“That looks relaxing… but I’m not creative enough for that.”

NO – I’m already doing small creative things to chill out.

No judgment either way — I just started this page for women who are somewhere in between: we want to feel better, but we’re exhausted by all the “self-care” pressure and need a little creative outlet.
