Maybe you’ve heard of Traveling Hands Massage Therapy. Maybe you’ve even had a session with me.
But as I get ready to open the doors to my new studio in Pine City, I wanted to take a moment to tell you what Traveling Hands is really about.
My goal has never been to simply make your muscles feel better for an hour.
I want you to leave feeling renewed, more connected to your body, and with a better understanding of what your body has been trying to tell you.
I work with clients looking for relaxation, therapeutic work, deeper pressure, or deep tissue—and I don’t believe you have to choose between them.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned through my own experiences with massage is that sometimes more pressure isn’t the answer.
Sometimes your body needs to feel safe enough to let go first.
Your nervous system plays a huge role in how your body holds tension, responds to pressure, and experiences discomfort. So instead of simply digging into the tightest spot and hoping it releases, I love combining nervous-system calming techniques with therapeutic and deeper work.
Relax first. Then go deeper.
I also believe in educating my clients about their bodies.
I can’t diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions—but I can help you understand what I’m noticing during your session, explain what muscles may be contributing to the tension you’re experiencing, and help you become more aware of how your body is moving and responding.
Because I don’t believe your massage should be something that simply happens to you.
I want you to leave knowing your body a little better than when you walked in.
And that’s exactly why I’m so excited about my new studio.
I’ve created this space to feel like stepping away from everyday life and into the outdoors—without having to actually go anywhere.

Every detail is intentional.
Because I truly believe there is something powerful about getting out of your everyday environment and giving your nervous system permission to breathe.
So yes—you can still get deep tissue at Traveling Hands.
But you might also discover that your body doesn’t always need you to fight the tension.
Sometimes it needs you to slow down.
Sometimes it needs you to breathe.
Sometimes it needs to feel safe enough to finally let go.
That’s what I’m creating at Traveling Hands.
A place where massage isn’t just about working on your muscles.
It’s about learning your body, calming your nervous system, and leaving feeling a little more like yourself again. 🌲
My Pine City studio is opening soon, and I’d love for you to come experience it for yourself.
