Mantra Monday 🌿
I can move through uncertainty one step at a time.

If you’ve been feeling the stress of rising prices, tighter budgets, or the weight of financial uncertainty—you’re not alone. Financial stress impacts the nervous system in very real ways, often increasing anxiety, overwhelm, and mental fatigue.

Today’s reminder: you do not have to solve everything all at once. Small grounded actions, moments of rest, community support, and self-compassion matter—especially during challenging seasons.

Your worth is not measured by productivity, income, or how perfectly you hold it all together.

✨ One breath. One step. One day at a time.

06/06/2026

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is take one slow breath. 🌿

Not to fix everything.
Not to force yourself to “calm down.”

Just to come back to here.

The mind loves to wander into worries, what-ifs, and future problems.
But the breath lives in the present moment.

And nature helps guide us back to it.

The rhythm of waves.
Wind through the trees.
Birdsong.

The natural world gently reminds us:
You are here now.

✨ Science note:
Slow, intentional breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping shift the body out of stress mode and into a state of regulation. Time in nature further reduces rumination and mental overwhelm, improving focus, mood, and emotional well-being.

Today’s invitation:
Step outside and notice your breath.

🌱 Inhale the fresh air.
Exhale the tension you’ve been carrying.
One breath at a time is enough.

💬 Engage:
What helps bring you back to the present moment when your mind feels busy?
Tag me or send a photo from a place that helps you breathe a little deeper.

Want practical tools to better support the youth in your life? 💛

Join us tomorrow, Thursday, June 4th from 6–8 PM at the Pinedale School Administration Board Room (665 N. Tyler Ave.) for a community talk on Health-Promoting Relationships with Youth, part of a larger framework focused on resilience, connection, and youth well-being.

This evening is for parents, caregivers, educators, coaches, mentors, and anyone who wants to help youth thrive. You’ll walk away with real-world tools, actionable strategies, and greater confidence in supporting young people’s mental and emotional health.

I’m deeply grateful for the prevention grant that allowed me to attend specialized training on this topic and now bring these evidence-based tools back to our community, both through this talk and within my youth mindfulness programs.

Healthy relationships matter.
Connection matters.
And small shifts can create lasting impacts. 🌿

June at PranaSol: Mindful Living

“The present is that elusive moment between what no longer exists and what has not yet happened.”
— Dalai Lama XIV

So much of life is spent replaying the past or rushing toward what’s next.

But mindful living invites us back to here...
to the body,
to the people beside us,
to the moments we might otherwise miss.

And in a world that constantly pulls our attention away, coming back to the present is a practice.

That’s the heart of June’s theme:
🌿 slowing down enough to notice life as it’s happening
🧠 building awareness instead of autopilot
🤍 creating deeper connection with ourselves and our communities

Here’s what’s happening this month across Sublette County and beyond:

🌱 Sublette County Wellness Collective Quarterly Meeting
Thursday, June 4 | 6–8pm

Join myself, Becky Crowe, and Morgan Frankel for dinner and a community conversation on Health-Promoting Relationships for Youth—a practical and compassionate approach to helping youth make healthy choices through connection, trust, and supportive relationships.

🧘 Wild & Grounded Youth Yoga & Mindfulness Camp
June 8–12 | 10am–12pm
Pinedale Aquatic Center

Last chance to register for this 5-day youth camp for ages 10–14 focused on confidence, mindfulness, emotional regulation, movement, and resilience through yoga and nature-based practices.

☀️ Lakeside Yoga on the Deck Returns
Starting Saturday, June 6 | 9–10am

Outdoor community yoga is back! Led by Jennifer Ricupero with support from myself and other local yoga instructors, this class is a beautiful way to move, breathe, and reconnect with nature and community this summer.

If June’s theme resonates with you and you’re looking for more mindfulness, yoga, nervous system support, or meaningful community, I’d love to connect with you.

🌈 Pride Month at PranaSol 🌈

At PranaSol, we believe every person deserves to feel safe, seen, valued, and free to be exactly who they are.

Mindfulness teaches us that beneath our differences, we share the same human needs: to belong, to be loved, and to live authentically. As mindfulness teacher and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh often reminded us, understanding and love are the foundation of a compassionate world.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the courage it takes to live truthfully and the beauty that diversity brings to our communities. We believe people should be free to express who they are, love who they love, and be treated with dignity and respect.

Whether you're joining us for yoga, mindfulness classes, community events, or wellness programs, know this: PranaSol is a welcoming, inclusive, and judgment-free space for all.

May we continue to practice kindness toward one another, compassion for ourselves, and appreciation for the many ways people experience and express life.

You belong here. 💜

Sometimes we find what we've been waiting for by stepping outside. 🌿

Away from the noise.
Away from the constant distractions pulling at our attention.

Nature has a way of bringing us back
to our breath,
to what actually matters.

And often, when we reconnect with ourselves,
we reconnect more deeply with others too.

A shared sunset.
A ride together in a canoe.

The natural world softens something in us.
It reminds us we can just BE.

✨ Science note:
Research shows that time in nature supports nervous system regulation, increases feelings of connection and awe, and can improve emotional openness and empathy. Shared experiences outdoors also strengthen social bonds and overall mental well-being.

Today’s invitation:
Step outside and slow down enough to truly connect.

🌱 With yourself.
With someone you care about.
With the world around you.

💬 Engage:
When do you feel most connected, to yourself or others, in nature?
Tag someone you love spending time outside with or send me a favorite nature memory.

Today is an invitation to pause with mindfulness and gratitude for the lives lost in service to this country and for the families who continue to carry that loss.

In the busyness of gatherings, travel, and long weekends, may we also take a moment to reflect on the deeper meaning of this day, to honor sacrifice, hold compassion for those grieving, and appreciate the freedoms and connections we often move through too quickly.

Mindfulness reminds us that gratitude becomes more powerful when we slow down enough to truly feel it.

Today, may we lead with remembrance, kindness, and appreciation for one another.

05/23/2026

It starts with just one step at a time. 🌿

One step out the door.
One step onto the trail.
One step away from the stress, screens, and endless thoughts.

It doesn’t have to be a big adventure to matter.

Nature meets us where we are...
tired, overwhelmed, distracted, uncertain.
And little by little, step by step,
something begins to shift.

The shoulders soften.
The breath deepens.
The mind quiets.

✨ Science note:
Even short amounts of time in nature have been shown to lower cortisol, reduce anxiety, improve mood, and support nervous system regulation. Gentle movement outdoors also boosts circulation, cognitive function, and emotional resilience.

You don’t have to do it perfectly.
You just have to begin.

Today’s invitation:
Take one small step outside.

🌱 A short walk counts.
Sitting in the sun counts.
Standing barefoot in the grass counts.

Small steps. Big benefits.

💬 Engage:
What’s your favorite simple way to get outside when motivation feels low?
Tag me or send a photo from your little moment in nature today.

“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.” — John Muir 🌿

Sometimes we step outside looking for exercise, distraction, or a breath of fresh air…
and leave with clarity, calm, connection, or wonder we didn’t even realize we needed.

That’s the quiet gift of nature.
It gives more than scenery.
It gives perspective, presence, and restoration.

✨ Nature has been shown to reduce stress, support nervous system regulation, improve mood, and increase feelings of connection and well-being.

This May, let yourself receive what the natural world is offering.

🌱 One walk. One breath. One moment of awe at a time.

💬 What’s something nature has given you lately that you weren’t expecting?
