Recognizing the signs of stroke can save lives. Learn how early intervention can lead to better outcomes and how inpatient medical rehabilitation plays a critical role in helping patients regain independence in our latest blog.

• 𝗕 – 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Sudden loss of balance, dizziness, or coordination.
• 𝗘 – 𝗘𝘆𝗲𝘀: Sudden trouble seeing, blurry vision, or loss of vision in one or both eyes.
• 𝗙 – 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲: One side of the face droops or feels numb; check this by asking the person to smile.
• 𝗔 – 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘀: Sudden weakness or numbness in one or both arms or legs (one arm may drift downward).
• 𝗦 – 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵: Slurred speech, trouble speaking, or confusion.
• 𝗧 – 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: If any of these signs are present, call 911 immediately for emergency medical help.
