People assume the problem is that I don’t get noticed.

That’s never been the problem.

I’ve never struggled to get attention. Attention is easy. Character is rare.

The real challenge isn’t finding someone who notices me. It’s finding someone whose actions match their words, whose character matches their image, and whose intentions match their promises.

I’ve learned that standards don’t limit your opportunities, they filter them.

So no, I’m not looking for more attention.

I’m looking for integrity.
Consistency.
Accountability.
Faith.
A person whose character is as strong in private as it is in public.

That’s a much smaller pool, but it’s worth the wait.

Everybody keeps talking about the scar.

Some see damage.

Some see a tragedy.

Some see a reason to stare.

Me?

I see the moment God decided I wasn’t finished yet.

I should’ve died.

I didn’t.

I should’ve quit.

I didn’t.

I should’ve let it make me bitter.

I didn’t.

So if this scar makes people uncomfortable, that’s okay.

It reminds me every single day that I’ve survived things that would’ve buried a lot of people.

And before anybody mistakes confidence for vanity, understand this:

I don’t post because I think I’m perfect.

I post because I know what it cost me to still be here.

This face carries a story.

This scar carries a testimony.

And I refuse to be ashamed of either one.
