Get Moving… Stay Healthy — Join Us This Spring & Summer!
We’re excited to invite you to our uplifting Get Moving… Stay Healthy sessions, held in partnership with Garbry Ridge Assisted Living, the YWCA Piqua, and Piqua Manor. These monthly gatherings feature gentle stretching and movement set to encouraging music—perfect for all activity levels, whether standing or seated.

Thank you to everyone who showed up during the torrential rains for our scheduled National Senior Health & Fitness Day Walk in Piqua. This is our 4th year, and it has rained 3 out of the 4 years—but this year was especially wild!

We had to move our check-in station inside the building due to the downpour, but we made everything work.

It turned out to be the perfect gathering anyway, giving us the chance to spend time with all of the service providers, enjoy each other’s company, and watch the rain come down.

We even fit in a fun trivia game celebrating the 250th anniversary of the USA, with a special focus on 1976. Everyone did pretty well, and it added a great element of fun to the day! We decided this year’s event leaned more toward our mental fitness 😊
Lunch was great, and even though it was impossible to walk outside, we truly made the best of the situation.

Thank you to all of the Garbry staff for your help with setup and getting everything back in order, and a special thank you to the residents for allowing us to celebrate this day together. We’re hoping for better weather next year!

It’s always such a fun, lively morning filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great company 🤗✨. There’s nothing better than seeing smiles all around and cheering each other on with every number called!
