Today on World Autism Day, we honor every autistic teen — and we want providers, educators, and parents to know: autistic adolescents face significantly higher rates of anxiety and depression, and their mental health needs are too often missed or misdiagnosed. Neurodiversity-affirming care means meeting each young person exactly where they are, respecting their unique experience, and never trying to "fix" who they are. At Family Recovery Centers, we see every teen as a whole person.
