Sport has always been a huge part of Katie’s life. After having two children she turned to Yoga to prepare a return to cycling, running and exercise. Katie stepped into the Yoga studio and found calm and community. She continued on with her journey in yoga and became a yoga instructor. Her preferred practice is Vinyasa, which weaves together inner peace in her work / life balance. When you catch

Katie outside the studio, she can be found working with students from diverse backgrounds. Katie has experience teaching preschoolers to adults. She has lived and taught in several different countries. Katie’s own family enjoys traveling and spending time with extended family all over the world. She is fluent in Spanish. Katie’s distinct background allows her to connect with all clients.

What a unique Yoga experience at Goat Yoga Chicago! The goats came right up to you and joined your practice during and after for savasana. They really enjoy being around people.

It's a great way to try yoga for the first time, or just mix up your Yoga routine. I highly recommend it!

Thank you to Andrea Syslo Shapiro and her daughters! We held an amazing slow flow class in their home today. The magical part was when the ladies all opened up their branches at the same time in tree pose. It was a beautiful peaceful moment. Until the next time ladies!🙏🌊
