Tori Baczek Yoga & Meditation Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness teacher supporting others on their paths toward wellness and being I hope to practice with you soon.

Dear you and your tender heart,

Thank you for landing here on this page and for your sense of wonder. I’m an RYT® 500 yoga, meditation, and mindfulness teacher based in Duxbury, MA. When my mom was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a fatal grade 4 brain tumor, and my world turned upside down, my personal practice and a heavy dose of poetry helped turn it right-side up again, and I have long

ed to help others find that same sense of peace, connection, and resilience within themselves ever since. I currently facilitate community meditations with National Brain Tumor Society, livestreamed yoga to meet you where you are, community yoga at Duxbury Beach and Gray’s Beach Park, group yoga classes at Plymouth Fitness, and private practice. I welcome people of any and every background and ability to come sit with everything they need to sit with, to move through everything they need to move through, to breathe through everything that needs to be breathed, and to hold space within themselves for what is deeply human within us all.

Yoga friends, I have missed you all!

Starting next week, we are on for Thursday nights at Plymouth Fitness! Same slow flow style, same gentle vibe, still trauma-informed as always, with you doing what’s right for you moment to moment.

Just a new day and time.

It’s set to be a 12-week offering for now, and if it’s well received by y’all, hopefully longer.

I hope you’ll join us 🩷

Today marks the close of a huge chapter. Today I led my final Sunday practice after a decade of facilitating slow flow in this space 🥺

What an extraordinary privilege to get to guide every single student that trusted me - or perhaps themselves - enough to show up even just once or however many hundreds of times.

It’s been a decade of fostering connection and cultivating community. Of recognizing our humanity and getting in touch with the sacred and finding what felt like church in some way.

A decade of healing from monumental grief and finding my voice while holding space for others learning to do the same. Of practicing autonomy and reclaiming agency and inviting others to do the same. Of exploring peaks and valleys and unguarded breaths and complete exhales. Of finding our own flow. Of starting over.

A decade of crossing through thousands of thresholds.

A decade of coming home 🩷

What a privilege to get to celebrate the passage of time and to have so much evidence of a life well-lived and well-loved. What a privilege to make lifelong friends and get to know ourselves more deeply and more fully. To have flowers placed at the altar of a well-worn yoga mat.

I started teaching to give to others what yoga gave to me after losing my mom: peace that required moving through some muck to find again. Today’s practice closed with a student sharing how class has helped her mom move through her own grief, which felt like the greatest gift to know practice made a difference.

Thank you all for the supreme privilege to guide you. I cherish you and truly hope to get to practice with you again so soon. I may not know what’s in store for the future of the PF schedule just yet but please keep in touch and stay on the lookout for future classes there or elsewhere.

Sundays with you have been the greatest gift. Deepest bow of gratitude, more than I’ll ever be able to express properly with words.

The countless dragonflies hovering over us at practice this morning was nothing shy of divine.

And maybe they meant nothing. But maybe their presence means everything. And given that today marks ten years to the day of my mom passing, I’m going with the latter.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning. You mean the absolute world to me 💗
