We don't want to rush summer but we do want everyone to mark their calendars for the annual Team Mary 5K at Gem Beach. Join us as we run, walk and raise money to support the special needs community in Ottawa County.

Thanks to all of our friends, family and community members that support Team Mary, we were able to raise over $20,000 for Team Mary and it's goal to help families right here in our community! We are excited to be able to continue our donations to the special needs prom and the ARC summer camp program. We continue to help out in other ways too with donations for field trips, specialized classroom supplies and donations for accessibility help for families navigating a crisis or challenges with a special needs child. Because of YOU we are able to brighten days and provide support to show these families they are not alone.

The race is just 5 days away! If you forgot to register, don't let that stop you from coming out on Sunday September 14th to join in on the fun. Day of registration will begin at 9am and the race starts at 10am. We will see you Sunday for a sunny morning of running and walking at Gem Beach Marina!

Team Mary invites YOU to lace up and join us on Sunday, September 14th for our annual 5K race through the beautiful Gem Beach neighborhood! This isn’t just a run—it’s a celebration of joy, inclusion, and the incredible impact one girl can have.
Mary Lucas is a vibrant 17-year-old with autism whose smile lights up every room she enters. Her spirit inspires us to uplift children with special needs and support their families—and this race is one way we do just that.
💙 Proceeds benefit the summer camp program at ARC of Ottawa County, a vital resource that offers enrichment and summer care for kids with special needs. Over the years, Team Mary has proudly supported causes like:
- The all-inclusive playground at Lakeview Park 🛝
- A prom party for kids and adults with special needs 🎉
- And many more initiatives that bring joy and support to our community!

- Start & finish at Gem Beach park area, winding through the scenic subdivision
- Refreshments & award ceremony at the finish line by Lake Erie 🌊
