St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center®, St. Charles Hospital, St. Catherine of Siena Hospital and Mercy Hospital have each earned a five-star overall quality rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the highest rating awarded by the federal agency.

This marks the seventh consecutive year St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center® has received a five-star rating from CMS. St. Charles Hospital, St. Catherine of Siena Hospital and Mercy Hospital each achieved their inaugural five-star designation, representing a significant milestone in Catholic Health’s system-wide performance and mission of continuous improvement.

In this role, Ms. Keiley will lead the hospital’s nursing department to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in alignment with the hospital and Catholic Health’s mission, vision and values.

Meet Catherine Borg, 76, who was recently diagnosed with Early Stage Dementia.

One day, Catherine was driving to her girlfriend's house - something she had done for years, but this particular day she got lost and couldn't remember the way. She decided to seek medical attention and was referred to neurologist Dr. Ajay Berdia at the Catholic Health Dementia & Alzheimer's Center at St. Charles.

Catherine has a family history of dementia and Alzheimer's disease and she was acutely aware of how the disease can take over your life. Dr. Berdia explained how there are now two infusions for early stage dementia that are not a cure, but can help slow the progression.

After several infusions, Catherine said her mind has been much clearer, her husband has noticed a difference and she now remembers how to get to her girlfriend's house.
